Hey guys... I was just wondering if anyone owns a cheap, good Digital Camcorder and would recommended it to me. I need a some-what cheap (about $400 cheap ) one though.. I've been googling for reviews and stuff; I'd just like a personal opinion if anyone has one. Thanks guys,

I just think it's no one can find you anything decent that's new and slick for that price.
I am thinking about early X-mas presents and want to get my dad one of those ones with the flip side LCD screen..

Oh wow how is the size of the camera?

Its not one of the super duper small ones. It is prolly just a bit bigger than the size of a 1 liter soda bottle, but more square and chunky. It is comfortable for me to use, zoom button is a bit off, but I have large hands.

Ahh well as long as it's not one of those monster cameras.
So do you think it is worth the $400?

I have felt that it was a good buy at $400. I read alot of reviews and am generally fond of Sony products. One big advantage it had to me was that it used the same batteries and lens accessories as my digicam.

Thanks alot Siliconjunkie. The samples you PMed me are good enough quality for me. Did you do any compressing for the web for it? Or does it come with software that already does that. This looks like a good deal to me.
Also-- thanks Mike for asking those questions to help me out. I've been busy lately with GF and all .

Those were quite compressed, straight out of the camera the video is around 200 meg/min. I'm glad that I could help.
