Everyone I knew in Michigan has been "up North" for one reason or another.
Hunting, camping, snowmobiling, etc.

Personally I haven't been "up North" and since I am in California, may never get up there.

It is beautiful country, I've only been up there once doing the tourist thing when I was a kid... up to (I'm gonna torture this word) taquemanon falls went to the upper and the lower falls

Apparently so many neat places to go, but didn't have the honor of visiting when I was in Michigan.

(IF I were still there this Summer I was going to go ride motorcycle/dirt bikes with friends. )

Technically speaking my country is at the same "hight" as just above the US/canadian border. Still think its is allot warmer here. Sea climate and no mountains give better weather I think(except for the rain ).
Don't want to leave any more up north. I know what Skywalker[TSG] has to cope with in Sweden
