stowed? stubbed? my toe

what is the word and how do you spell it when you say you "stubbed" your toe or finger on something. i always said stubbed, but i knew it was wrong. some have told me stowed, some stoved, but www.dictionary.com does not back either of those up. so what is the word?

No, Stubbed, or "to stub" is the correct way to say it.

I couldnt find any other way to say it using Google so I think its correct to say "I stubbed my toe.".

You 'stub' your toe
you 'stubbed' your toe yesterday

you have to look for the present tense I guess
