Metallica Icon

Watching these bands perform Metallica songs, makes me appreciate the actual band more.

although Sum41 wasn't too bad.

Old school Metallica still owns.

Garage Days Re-Revisited was a great album..
Loved some of the B sides from the Black album as well!!

Their remake of Queens 'Stoned Cold Crazy' was a great!!

No kiddin, Vass! My daughter brought that one home and started playing it---I'm like, WHOA! That's some ROCKIN'!!

I didn't see the Metallica "Icons" hype-fest, but I'm familiar with the setup---get a bunch of lesser artists to do renditions of the outfit everybody's waiting for (the poor suckers don't realize they're being set up---)---the audience is just throbbing, waiting for the "real" deal to take the stage, and when they finally go on, it's like this gigantic release.....it's classic show biz, folks!

"Hit the lights" brings back some memories, then they ruin the moment with enter sandman......

.......redeemed it with Blackened, and creeping death, ok and Battery....sound a little winded though

whats up with Chief J. Strongbow?

I remember the days before Napster and Kazaa and mp3's when I actually had to buy the entire Rubiat cassette package for that ONE SONG.

Send a message via AIM to cracked
MetallicA is the best band ever(before the black album anyway). to be quite honest, everything after the black album except the #2 cd of garage inc. sucked real bad. but everything pre-black was awesome!
