Kids Tipping question - need advice!

My son, his date, and three other couples are renting a limo for senior prom. What is considered a reasonable "TIP" for the driver? I have no experience with this kind of thing.

Thanks,

Bill

Yes, the 15% rule works for limo drivers as well. Only if there were unusual circumstances would I give more, or less for lousy service, as the case may be.

And 15% is pretty easy, take 1/10th, plus half of 1/10th. Always round up to the next dollar.

I like riding in just a regular stretch limo..
Personally I am like Jacob, I don't like math so I just stick to 10% with everything.

I always use this rule. I always tip at least 30%.This way I know they'll never spit in my food when I order at a resturant. I don't know how that would apply to a Limo though?Using my logic I think it would assure me that the driver would not try to run me over after we were done with him or her.

as a rule - I start off at 20% - but cruddy service can bring that all the way down to zero in a hurry
