Keyboard trays

I just wanna know how many people out there have or like their keyboards on the drawer-like trays? I had my first run in with them today at my schools library and can't stand it. I prefer my keyboard on the non-moving surface of my desktop.

Mine is on the desk at work and in a drawer at home. No difference to me. My only pet peeve are low chairs, so you have to reach up to get to the keyboard. Can't figure out how anyone can type that way. And I can't figure out how anyone can work efficiently without a mouse wheel.

I hate those, even if it's nice to get the keyb/mouse out of the way when one is gone I think they're a real pain... However, as I have cordless desktop I mostly just use the keyb/mouse from my bed

i have a wireless keyboard, when i type it is usually on my lap, and usually with my feet up on the desk, when i am not using it, either vertically leaning on the desk from the floor, or in the "normal" position on the desk

at a previous job I had a keybaord tray that was on an arm, but it wouldn't go up or down unless you lifted it to 'unlock' the arm. So it was much nicer than just a stinkin' drawer, the drawer I hate.. the arm this one was on was pretty nice.. although I usually kept it against the desk anyways. The ones in the little plastic drawer just drive me insane so I stay away from them
