I don't think a cruse missile is that hard to build. Its only a model airplane.
To succeed, it would have to be stealty enough to avoid radar. Obviously, an airport somewhere is going to ask the "pilot" his destination. No response will be a red flag. Also, the explosives used in military versions are orders of magnitute greater than C-4, Symtex, etc. It can still do some damage, but nothing like we've witnessed on TV - 2500 lbs of the best explosives money can buy!
I just can't picture an anonomous aircraft flying aroung unimpeded, no flight plan, no transponder, maybe below flight altitude minimums, through terminal controlled areas, ignoring the tower's instructions to climb to xyz altitude at abc heading, hell they have been known to talk to ducks!
Build yes, fly yes, be dangerous, no!
