Systems A part of history is gone forever.

What a shame. The Old Man of the Mountains symbolized New Hampshire. The entire profile slid off the mountain last night. How sad. The folks around there must be devastated.

I've been there many times and have always been intrigued by it. So much folklore has been written about it. But in the end, Mother Nature had her way.

Probably not as devastated as those of us that lived near Mt. St. Helens were when it changed it's profile.

Things change. That's nature for ya.

Obviously this is many orders of magnitude less a disaster than Mt. St. Helens. I wasn't trying to compare the two in any way.

But the Old Man was a much reproduced image that symbolized the entire state. For many folks in New England this is a sad day.

That is really a bummer!

The earth is always trying to make itself flat!

Kinda like Yellowstone losing Old Faithful!

Argggg!
