deja vus IMO

What do you think deja vus are?

I KNOW FOR A FACT that i have dreamt things, and they have happened.
deja vus are the scariest things in the world. i hate them.

i don't believe deva vus and what you described are the same. I think what you are descibing is more of a premonition.

Deja vus is when you think that you have already "been there or done that". I think deja vus is simply when the brain gives an impulse or otherwise releases chemicals which give you that sensation mistakenly.

I get these every now and then. I will be somewhere doing something and I swear I'd done it before. It is a weird feeling. There's a funny skit done by Monty Python about this subject.

Yep I get these on occasion, quite disturbing when you get the feeling I dreamed this before but it turns REAL bad in the dream... but then in life its ok

I don't guess I've really had one of these experiances

Just the daily routine. If I feel like I have done this before you can bet it's because I have

I've heard that it's because at some point in that time something drastically happened to you that wasn't supposed to happen. Therefore you were brought back to relive that day, moment in time. Basically (if you believe in God), you are given another chance because it just wasn't your time. That's why you have those feelings that "I've done this whole thing before, but cannot remember ANYTHING else." God works in mysterious ways....

My wife get's something her neurologist calls deja vus as a precursory sign to epilepsy. She can talk to ppl when they happen, but feels like it's all a dream, and seems to be looking outside of herself. She says it's a really weird feeling.

Cheers
