I've got a Panasonic DVD-CP72 with Progressive Scan that is a 5 disk changer that also plays CD/CDRW, has192khz/24 bit audio and will play CDs with MP3 or WMA audio.

Since I have a 43" projection TV, the progressive scan feature gives an incredible picture for DVD movies.

It also has an S-video jack and an Optical audio jack as well as connections for surround sound system hook up... for around $230 at Circuit City.

I love it...

More than a good deal, Panasonic's DVD-CP67 ultra-slim 5-disc changer with progressive scan is a no-brainer! With its outstanding combination of performance, features, and dependability, this well-built changer deserves a starring role in your A/V system for years to come. If your current TV doesn't accept progressive-scan signals, your next one surely will, and the DVD-CP67 delivers a terrific DVD picture whether you select interlaced- or progressive-scan mode.

Playback versatility applies to your music discs, too. The DVD-CP67 does a great job with your store-bought CDs, as well as your audio CD-R and CD-RW discs. PC music fans will appreciate that this unit can also play MP3 and WMA music discs created using a computer CD-R/W drive. (WMA is an increasingly popular format, and both MP3- and WMA-encoded discs can hold up to 10 hours of music!)

Advanced Virtual Surround Sound makes 2-speaker systems sound more full and spacious. For surround sound systems, Dialogue Enhancer makes dialogue easier to hear by raising the center channel volume. The 4:3 TV Zoom feature expands letterbox movies to better fill the squarish shape of standard TV screens (the sides of the image are trimmed slightly). And you'll feel comfortable right away with Panasonic's intuitive on-screen menus.

$130

Hey, Vagabond, stop by your local Blockbuster Video....I just picked up a Philips 783C dvd/cd/etc. 5-disc player for $99!!

It's great, and Philips is pretty good stuff.
