Quite silly to have to wait for a particular day of the year to show your mom your gratitude. I try to do it often, regardless of Mother's Day or Father's Day... (which IMO, are just marketing ploys to boost the sale of microwave ovens and flowers and such)

I agree. I work for my dad,and mom and enjoy the time I get to spend with them

As for me and the wife we are combining mother/fathers day and buying ourselves a nice digicam.It was her Idea, I just agreed

No but you know your mom better than us. You should know what to get her. Like golden does I always pick up little things for my mom (may she rest in peace.)
