Angel is Gone..........

Yesterday, while cleaning out the car, Angel managed to slip by CE, and made a break for it. We may have had her back, but just when Ce had his hand on her, the femle that lives next door, decided to start a yelling fest with the male sitting outside with her. Of Course, Angel bolted, and sped across the street to a garage that is not accessable by a human. To this time, we have not heard or seen from her, thanks to the wonderful neighbors, either playing thier radios so loud it would make your ears bleed, or the honking of the car horns, or any other number of annoying things they could do to keep her in hiding.

I am worried, she is pregnant..............

She may have left to have her kittens. But she knows where the food is, she will be back.

Surreal: That is the line of reasoning that we have had. Do to the new-ness of her in the house, and the other cats, she might (probably) could not find a nesting area for the birth.

Update: No sign of her since mid day yesterday. Literally. None of the neighbors (that give a hoot) Have seen any sign of her. The food we have set out has been getting nibbled at, but that seems to be the doing of a couple of known strays (their story is for another time).

Other than that we have been doing fine. Falling to pieces at the sound of a cat, jumping out of our skin at the squeal of brakes... You know... the usual...

From what you have told us and what i know of cats she was scared,looking for a safe place. hopefully she has holed up in the garage in a safe place. gross as it may sound her first meal after there birth was the placenta (or after birth, if I am remembering corectly.)(ewwww gross.) keep the food out she will be looking for a free meal. Whatever you do don't get to close. watch her from a distance so you can find out where she has them for sure and also to gain her trust.
this being the spring is a good time. as long as she has a food source so do the kittens, and kittens being kittens they should prove to be easily caught. give it a few.
