YEEEHAAAA! Got me a TRUCK!!

YIPPEEEE!!!! Today I picked up a pickup truck that is the SCH-WEEEETEST little truck I ever saw. She's a '97 Ford Ranger, stick, 4-banger, everything on her is blessedly MANUAL and even the radio works. She runs like a CHAMP!!

The thing is cherry. Just 80K miles, one-owner (who obviously took excellent care of it) and here's the punchline: Out the door, taxes, docs, interest on the (small) loan, everything:

$6,800.

I ran across it last Saturday, and now it's MINE, hahahahahahaha!

I'm gonna get Socal to take a pic of it tomorrow (with her snazzy digi-cam), so I'll post a shot tomorrow night.

Meanwhile, I'm considering setting up a camp bed in the back and sleeping with her (the truck, I mean). Wait'll you see it, you'll understand. Dang, I believe I'll even go so far as to WAX her from time to time. If you can imagine!

Yea! Sounds like ur one happy fella! What fun, new toy!!! Ohhh, truck - can carry lots and lots of plants and dirt and wood and friends furniture and blow-up dog for the back and shotgun in the back window for when ya feel a little bit Texan and one of those must have shiny silver tool boxes and make it into a portable swimming pool and and and..........
