What does this engine fit???

I was coming home while ago,and this semi was parked in the middle of the road. What kind of engine is this on the trailer? I have never seen one like it.It is the size of the tractor.
Anyone have any ideas what it fits?submarine, battleship, yugo?

HMMM That's a good possibility.I see one of these every couple of months. Looks lie they would move them on the train too.

It does look disturbingly like a diesel engine's engine.

I think it is a locomotive engine. Ship engines are bigger still!

It looks like THE MOTOR of a electrical generation plant, or a diesel propulsion system from off a cruise ship.

Yes, I said a diesel engine's engine. As in diesel train engine. That's what we in the hobby call them. Engines. Not locomotives. Locomotives are steam engines, you see? There's all these designations and things you have to know before you can just go talking about trains! Did you count how many cylinders it was? I can't tell from the picture. I bet with a length of block and number of cylinders I could tell you what engine it's from, and how much horsepower/torque it generates. That's if it is an engine engine. Not a locomotive engine. Boy I'm tired.
