i just l;ooked and there are 708 guests active, and only 80-some members. is techimo really that popular with people just reading and not posting?

You also have to remember that we're still feelign the effects of TechTV pointing towards TIMO.
Many people come to check out the site, but dont' return.
Some folks do stick around though

yeah w2hat vass said, i am surprised though, the show aired thursday, i guess MOST people catch the re-run. cuz thursday had the record until 10 tonight

The server couldn't handle that one. The TechTV seems to be more effective since the site has been rather slow and even inaccessable since last Thursday.

i know at times, when i am school during computer class i like to read the forums and i dont have time to sign in. i suspect there are many people that have the same, whether it be work or school, or whatever. it takes time to respond to threads, and some people dont have that time till later, so they browse earlier and respond later.
