i can kinda see both sides but i would also have done the same thing and i do think that he should not have been punished for that.

this is kinda like my friend. he wrecked his car one rainy night in the middle of nowhere. he, like any sane person, got out and walked to the nearest house to call his mom and the police. when he and his mother got back to the wreck the cops were already there and threatened to charge him with "leaving the scene of an accident" but if he had never left he could have been there all night and no one would have known he had wrecked.

I would of too. I Don't really get why they arrest ppl when they do stuff like this. Maybe beacuse they have to.

I saw that on the news. It was wrong of him to pass the polic barriers, but now its over, no one got hurt, but they are still arresting him. Hopefully the judge will be an animal lover

I have never met a cop who wasn't on a power trip. I have taught my children not to trust them. Respect their power, yes, but never trust them.

I would have done the same, for my dog (if I had one) or for my cat. And I'd then accept being arrested without putting up any hassle. If that is what it takes to save my pet's life, then so be it.

And although I'd never expect someone like a firefighter to risk their (human) life for an animal...I would be a little disappointed that none of them even thought to give it a try.

I would have done the same and he should not have been arrested. Anyone remember if this is the same area where the cops pulled over a family on a bogus stop and then that jerk killed their dog?
