Hyundai speaker replacement

Shot in the dark here...but has anybody replaced the rear 6X9's in a 2003 Hyundai Sonata lately? Want to get rid of the factory ones and can't figure out how to get the rear deck panel off to get at em...even the dealer is cluless cause they're too new and haven't done any yet.
Crutchfield doesn't have the removal/install figured out yet as well..any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks

I have no idea, but I would just crawl in the trunk and grab a light and see what I can see.Unless they are on top of hte rear deck, Then grab a screwdriver, and gently pry on the covers

try www.edmunds.com there are lots of forums there and i am sure u can find that . i know that the "6x9's" that hyundai uses aren't really 6x9 they are alittle smaller from what i have read . i have a 02 elantra gt and have heard u can only use like 3 brands that make the right size to fit the hole .

Not for the timid, but a reciprocating saw can take care of that prob. Sometimes brute force is required, though be careful, as interior moldings can be expensive to replace for late models.

Related note, just installed my new 6x9s and 15s. Hoping my frame welds don't break!
