Hey NORK!
Uh, in view of the fact that you now have your money and the RAM that we traded for, don't you think you should possibly modify your previous heatware evaluation? I still have a broken DVD. Now you would have to ask yourself, why would Raven lie about the condition of the DVD? I mean, you got the RAM that we "traded" for. You got your money for shipping twice PLUS YOU GOT AN EXTRA $10.00 just in case you want to honor the original agreement and send me a working DVD. The reason that I made the deal in the first place was because I wanted a working DVD, not a paperweight. If I wanted a paperweight I would have put that in the original trade deal.

Maybe you should PM this to NORK instead of post it where everyone can see.

Raven just looked at the eval. Looks like you two delt with a MOD and he/she resolved it. If you two are still having probs contact Socalgal or one of the other mods.
EDIT: Here's raven's negative feedback for NORK if anyone is interested in seeing it. http://www.heatware.com/eval.php4?id=9743&expand[0]=149141

Gee, I don't see where it's been resolved. Let's see, in the evaluation Nork states that he got his RAM, now he's also got $30.00 of my cash and I've got a broken DVD. How is that resolved pray tell? He is calling me a risky trader to do business with but I'm the one who got the negative eval, the broken DVD ROM, (which took a long, long time to get to me and only AFTER I went online and accused him of trolling me) and a lighter bank account. Apparently I've got some kind of hex on me. And, this is the open forum where people post whatever they want to. All I am asking here is for some justice. This guy, apparently, flat ripped me off and everyone is going, Well now Raven, perhaps you should just lie there and take it with no lubrication.

OK, if its not resolved take it to a MOD. Anyways your not the only one who got a negative feedback. Didn't you post some negative feedback for NORK. Anyways just take it to a MOD and they will help both of you out. PMed socalgal about this she'll probably be able to resolve the dispute.

Socal doesn't want to help resolve a trading/selling/buying problem. Doubt it. You might be able to try another MOD she doesn't help you. Even if the outcome is infavorable to you that doesn't mean it isn't relsolved or she didn't help you. Anyways thats probably all I can say because I wasn't part of the deal.

Socal sent me an email stating that she did not want to help resolve this issue any further. Gosh, no, I just made that up! NOT
Nork states right there in his eval of me that he got what he traded for. Then, he goes on that "I will never see that money" (He has) and, I sent him more than he paid for postage (he paid a total of $19.00, I sent him a check for $30.00 to cover all bases). I still have the broken DVD and the box it came in, which I will be glad to pay postage on and send to any moderator to check. The box is clearly marked that it was shipped on March 17, 2003 when he claimed to have sent it on or around the first of March. The drive arrived and it was packed in loose, I mean loose peanut foam, which is no protection at all. When I ship stuff in a box, there is no room for movement at all and all static bags are in place and box sealed.
Why is everyone acting like he is the aggrieved party? He got his stuff!
Read the other evals there at heatware. Why would I be so careful to ship to everyone else, bend over backwards to make sure that they were satified then gyp Nork? Then, go back to being very, very conscientous with the next person? I don't know Nork, I've never met Nork, the only contact I ever had with him turned out bad for me and he got extra cash!!
What the Sam Hill is going on here? Are you all nuts?
And, and.........it's not resolved until I get what I've traded and paid for or someone at least gets him to apologize to me for his lack of good faith. If his name was oriental or arabic sounding he would already be on someone's "watch this trader list" no doubt. Being old and partialy senile does not excuse his behavior.
I'm a senior citizen also and I take full responsibility for my actions and words.

Yeah, sorry, but I'm no longer trollhunting or moderating so please forward any trading issues to the moderators and / or Trollhunters. Thanks.

The trading world is definitely a riskier place now. Sorry to hear that, Socalgal. You are truly the Best of the Trollhunters.
I'm confused as to how two traders with great reputations and evals could come to this. On the surface it seems that insuring the packages would have solved the problem. I recently bought something from a well respected dealer that came damaged. Luckily the dealer had it insured, so I bought a replacement and submitted the insurance claim. Piece-o'-cake. In this case, it would seem that the dealer who sent sensitive electronic equipment in questionable packaging and without insurance is responsible for damage. I don't know all the background here, but on the face of it, that's what I see.
