Suggestion on how to inflate large number of ballons

I am needed to blow-up a large number of balloon and was wondering if anybody had a suggestion of the best way to go about this? I would perfer to use something that might be around a house or easily obtainable and not too expensive.

Has anybody ever done anything like this? and if so how?

Oh, and btw, it needs to be in a relitively short mount of time, meaning once I start blowing-up the ballons, I need to finish quickly.

Thanks,
LK

Can you rent a helium tank from a partyrental store?
How bout a friend with a small air compressor?
Can you rig a vacuum to blow and tape a smaller hose/nozzle type thing on it?
How bout getting 20 of the neighborkids together?

I like the vacuum idea, and the compressor probably would work as well.

I don't need them to be helium filled, but thanks anyway.

Anyother suggestions?

How about a tire inflater? You know those that you carry around in your car. They usually come with some fittings that you use to inflate air mattresses, beach balls, etc.

TKOP suggested what I was thinking- Kids. If this is a neighborhood thing or you have access to neighborhood kids, ask them for help. With kids- be clear. Clearly explain what ya want and what the time limit is as well as setting boundaries. Offer to pay if necessary (kids think 5 bucks will buy the world).

I have assisted in FundRaising and Community Events and we utilize kids (its also the pop we work with) as often as possible (if age appropriate)- Kids have a great time and it makes you/your organization look good.

GoodLuck with whatever ya come up with.

I filled my boss's office from floor to ceiling in 2 hours using my compressor.

I had a couple of tie people and I was the filler.

do not try a little 12 volt tire pump they have no volume AFAIK would take like 1 minute per baloon.

I would say 99 luftballons.
Sure you will be able to get helium or other gastanks which will provide you just what you want.
Compressors will give you balloons but filled with helium they justs give this extra effect. Balloons that don't follow Newton are way too cool!
