You have to pay for carfax? That's not very cool. You could always ask the dealer to look it up for you like they suggest on the commercial

Yeah....If I had an account I could look up 100 random nunbers if I want. If they are sharing the login and such I would imagine it violates the TOS, but not looking up a number.

When I bought my last used car, I went to a dealer that provided a carfax report on every car for free. They also posted their prices on the window of evey car. I didn't have to haggle or wonder.

Thet's the kind of place I'd deal with again.
