It's mostly teenage squirrels that do it, to the horror of their parents. There's quite a campaign in the squirrel communtiy against it - the War on Road Crossing - or WRC - 'Just say no'.

Yep. They do it to get high. It's quite a rush, really.

If the squirrel community does not respond we will start gearing up the good old boy network and initiate the propaganda telling all how good squirrel brains are when fried up with eggs.
