School shooting in New Orleans

Gunmen armed with an AK-47 rifle and a handgun opened fire in a packed high school gym Monday, killing a 15-year-old boy and wounding three teenage girls in a spray of more than 30 bullets that sent students scrambling for cover.

Quite a shame.

From what I'm hearing, the high school has about 1000 students. They have metal detectors and 4 security guards and 1 NOPD officer. The killers got in through a hole in the fence. Four captured. 1 killed. rest of the kids will be ok. many kids not going back to school today. Apparently, there was a gang killing that happened last week, and this is the retibution.

I do not personally know the school or area that it happened. I do know that just about every night there is a murder, all in the general area. It would just make sense to stay off the streets at night. This happening in a school is just a darn shame.

When I was in High School I knew of one kid who had a gun now it seems like you would know one kid who doesn't, times have sure changed
