He has never asked anything of the membership since my lurking days in Jan 1999

EVERYONE here can afford to send at least a few bucks to help the lady,, even you folks who are very young and don't work I'm sure if ya asked Dad for a twenty to send someone who needs it that he'd oblige.

Poor people, why not send One dollar. Don't say it won't help,, we have over 1,200 members and if everyone sends a buck per month it would help a lot.

I start benefits for people at work who are injured/sick. I'm always amazed at how fast two or three thousand dollars appear when you have a couple hundred good people who are willing to part with a 5 or 10 spot.

I just got an e-mail regarding Hedi, it seems as if Scotts request has been basically IGNORED. Few, and I mean very few have made any attempt to assist.
Yes, I'm late too, my check just went out today.

I can't afford much right now (I've been unemployed for the past 3 months, and just now landed a job with a 45% pay decrease), but I will do what I can.

i don't have a job, and it's gotten pretty tight.
But I too know how it is to be alone, and on your own and sick, it's one of the reasons I've been out of work so long, but I am fortunate, I'm about recovered full strenght.
My savings are gone too. I know the weight of desparation.
And 20 bucks isn't much, but it will buy a couple bags of beans, add rice and it's a complete protien..
Or pay a payment if a few of us do it.

I am embarrassed I can not do more.

I have been unemployed since the begining of July. Not everyone can help, sorry wish I could. Even a dollar is too much for some to spare.
