im tired about hearing her status on tv. i care about the other POWs, the SOLDIERS, not some 19 year old in a Maintenance Company. Dont get me wrong, im glad she is safe, and its not like i was happy she was a POW, but i wish everyone would GeT OVER HER PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

i would have to say that anyone who becomes a pow is more of a soldier than any that havent been captured. it is probably the scariest thing ever.

she is a solider... she is the same as any solider out there... she does her duty..no matter what the cost... she spills the SAME BLOOD as any airman,solider,seaman,marine... the blood of freedom.... who are you to say that she is no different than any other armed forces personel.

I think her status is no more important, nor no less important than the status of any one of the POW or MIA troops.

I'm not sure why the news reports about Jessica would upset you so much, but apparently it's news that some others are interested in.

It's become a human interest puff-piece the media is over-sensationalizing because things are slowing down and they revert to the familiar to fill air-time. (Remember the other baby Jessica who fell in the Texas well?). I'm sure Ms. Lynch and her family would like to be left alone to heal about now. God bless her, the other POW's, and all the others who've slogged through that sandpit.

Let me ask you a question isn't being in the Maintenance Company serving your country. And didn't she get seriously injured in the hand of the Iraqis. Heard of Free Press. The other rescued POW's are getting almost as much attention and non of them had as many injuries.

She's the new Audie Murphy. Single-handedly wiped out an entire battalion of Iraqi soldiers before running out of ammo. Then she whipped another battalion with her bare hands and feet until she broke 3 of her limbs. She nearly escaped by bouncing away on her one good hand too. It'll make a great movie. I think they already got Sarah Michelle Geller to play the part.

Actually it wouldn’t be such a big deal if she wasn’t such a cutie. She’s a millionaire now. She has quite a story to sell.
