Thoughts and prayers needed

While I was at the shore this weekend my grandfather had a massive heart attack. He is in the ICU at the local hospital and looks better then when he first went in.

He said that he started get short on breath and had heartburn. He called my uncle who then rushed him to the hospital. He was admitted immediately. When he got there he was still having the heart attack. They said his pulse went down to 14 beats per min.

My mom called and told me what was going on. When she said he was getting better I felt relieved and ask how they could tell. Her reply," He is hitting on the nurses". Hopefully he will pull through this with flying colors and live many more years. Iam not sure of his exact age but I am pretty sure he is over 80.

I did not know your heart could beat so slow. He got there quick and that is what matters.

Yes, your pulse can get that low. I have nothing else to do with my life so I practice holding my breath and lowering my pulse. I have gotten it down to 13 / min. Makes me dizzy sometimes, other times I just pass out.


Hope he gets well.

My Faher-in-law had a heart attack and was given 6 months to live. That was in 1983. He finally passed on in 1994. Hoping your grandfather has many more years.

Thoughts and prayers are on their way as I type Korgul...I've lost both of my grandfathers, one of them was like a Dad to me (I lived with him for 6 years).

He's hitting on the nurses is he? That's my kind of gramps!

Don't worry buddy, he'll pull through...positive thinking my friend, positive thinking.

I don't have any grandparents anymore, I do miss them. I hope you can see him in better health for a few more years.
