I'm listening to the news right now and apparently the marines have rescued 6 or 7 US POW"s. This is great new's. Waiting for more updates on the story.
BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Six or seven U.S. troops who were previously listed as missing have been located and are apparently in good health, Gen. Tommy Franks, commander in chief of U.S. Central Command, said Sunday.
It was not clear whether the troops were listed as prisoners of war or missing in action, Franks said. They are in U.S. military custody, he said.
CNN hasn't confirmed whether they were actually POW's or just MIA, but either way its' good news to know that they're alive and apparently in good health
