This is the enviornment I live in. A useless police dept run by idiots and Jackson is wide open. Luckily, I live in a remote area and have a GREAT watch dog and have a weapon for every ocassion.

Wow....Sorry to read that about your neck of the world but atleast you have the right and the ability to provide for your own protection since it is blatantly obvious that your police dept cant protect you and your loved ones either.

Then again, we just moved to Clovis.
Where the cops are known to shoot first & ask questions later.
Criminals in Clovis "shop" in Fresno, where the pickin's are easier.

I've recently installed motion detectors with 300 watt flood lights over my driveway. This way when I stick my M1 out of the window , I'll have a clear veiw... Saving the shotgun w/ double 00
buckshot for close quarters.!!!!

Cadd..Three more years on the house note, then we're planning a move. It's not too bad where I'm at. My neighbors are retired and next door teaches at home, so our street is sort of protected.

IMO Guns still suck.
The link you have provided only emphasises this.
Guns are designed solely to cause injury death and pain.
They may be put to a variety of uses both good and bad, but it seems to be more of the latter.

I would also say that I would not for a second say that someone should not do everything in their power to protect themselves and their loved ones. Pickel I am sorry for your situation and I hope that you can stay safe.

Guns suck, but IMO society sucks as well. And alot of work needs to be done to improve both.
