This movie is disturbing. Let me just say that. If you don't like movies that are gruesome, I wouldn't suggest this. Was it really scary? NO it was just disturbing.

I can understand why Rob Zombie had to re-shoot some of the scenes. Apparently they warned him and told him it'd be NC-17 (No Children under 17, no exceptions) and that's a kiss of death for the movie.

Still a neat movie.

*edit* I do believe that Sheri Moon who plays "Baby" in House of 1000 corpses is Rob Zombie's special "lady friend".

Well this one had some interesting characters. If you are into Horror with a "funny" twist, it's a movie worth watching.

From the preview I saw, it does look rather bizarre..

Yes, Rob Zombie is just a strange guy. His house is even a bit strange! Just the stuff on his mantles, walls, etc...
Ahh well, he's got money and has a sexy girlfriend/wife (Not really sure) so whatever works for him!

When I watched it I was contemplating if it was either a deep thinking sort of horror movie(like BlareWitch kinda), or a poke-fun-at horror movies type of thing(i.e. Scary Movie). In the end I thought it was a good movie. But me being a big Zombie fan helps a bit(I'm going to OzzFest just to see him)
