Going To Vegas, Baby!!!

Having sold my business I owned for 30 years this will be the first entire family vacation we have had in 12 years. High school baseball tournament necessitates the trip, but what the hey.

I feel like the Griswalds. Six days at the Tropicana. Leaving Saturday and returning Thursday. Previous trips have only been on weekends with all the idiots who think they should stay on16 when the dealer is showing a 10.

Now, if only my 12 year old can "put in a dollar and win a car" and not get caught.

Wish me luck!

Bill

Stick with Poker. It's the only game of skill. Everything else is stacked the houses advantage. Avoid Roulette like the plauge, the spinning wheel sure looks neato, but the odds arn't that great. Don't play Craps unless you know what you are doing, and don't believe anyone who tells you they make a living off of gambling.

I thought BlackJack was the game with the best odds?

You'll notice that Poker is the only game that the house doesn't put money in. They provide the space, dealers, security, and chips, but they don't actually play the game. There are people that can and do make a living at poker.

BlackJack has decent odds if you know how to play, but then, if you play the right spots in Craps and Roulette, they have decent odds too. But it's just too tempting for most people that start winning to bet on high gain high risk bets. Besides Poker, Blackjack is the next best thing.

You can also sometimes spend hours on the penny slots on little money ($20). The odds generally arn't too bad, mainly because most people put everything they win right back into playing. People don't play penny slots because they want to win, they play them because they have nothing better to do with their time.

Some people just love to play slots *shrug*
I use to work at a casino in Central MI, and people get down right violent about losing their machine! (Yes I'm serious, literally violent).

Good luck Clark Griswold!

I have noticed turning on ESPN even that they have professional poker games.
When we went to Tahoe, we crossed the line and went to Reno and watched some old ladies argue over a $0.25 slot machine! It was a riot.
On another note, have fun and come back with your shirt on please.
It was neat when we were in Nevada, everything had some kind of slot machines. Gas stations, mini-marts, everything except for banks!

VIVA LAS VEGAS
