Is my location valid?
You will notice that I have written south east, USA
I feel no need to provide my state. Information is power and I give it to whom I want.
I think it is clear enough and is a location.
What do you guys and gals think?
I have been offered the chance to remove it but I think that the information is good for defining a little about me.
South East, USA formerly from North East, USA.
Now If I had written something like None your F'ckn business or betazoid 7 or the likes I would understand.
What would you consider valid information for location city and state only?

I couldn't find anything in the faq that states you have to properly point where you are.
SE, USA is just as obscure to me as is vass<numbers>'s location, belt nor loop tell me anything, that could be in antarctica for all I know.
I don't see a problem with that location.

//edit: I browsed a few usernames, I can't make out half of them where they are.
All those acronyms are just nonsense to me.

Bushmaster,
Of course you are correct. But it is not my preference to give all my information. I have defined my region and I feel that that is sufficient.
South East, USA formerly North East, USA
Would more aptly describe me. It tells you about everything that actually mentioning states would.
In fact as long as it is some form of location what difference does it make.
If I do not need to provide it what difference does it make having any type of accurate description there.

I think the problem was that certain people were using it for advertising or putting things like "Up a tree with a joint" and stuff. Which is understandable. AFAIK there should be no problem with putting South east USA as that still describes your geographic location and doesn't contravene any rules.
