it just brought fights and wars, and it's not usefull at all (well i cant see the good thing in it)

i like switzerland, and i like the people who live in it but i would never say i'm proud of it, you can be proud of the guys who made swizterland to that what it is today but not to the country itself

and my personal opinion is the americans are extremely patriotistic (spelled right?) and sometimes it's just annoying = /

Why can't you say you are proud of Switzerland? It's a beautiful country. There's nothing wrong with nationalistic pride. You see it at the Olympics. If you are unhappy then you can change things or emigrate. And America will not be the one world gov't. The American People have a voice and vote and won't allow it. And it's not prophesied if you want to take the Biblical angle. In other words, don't expect the US to invade Syria, Egypt, Jordan or Iran. We're not out to colonize for world domination.

Religion has caused way more problems than patriotism could ever. I love my country and yes I would die for it if need be. I am proud to be an American. I am proud of the men and women who have died for the rights that I have now. Patriotism is not a bad thing. We are so patriotic because what we as a country have been able to accomplish on the whole. I think Religion is more trouble than having love for ones country.

It's annoying and in bad taste to be proud of what is probably the most upright and introspective country in the world? I guess you have to live here to understand it.

it's hard to explain, i guess you have another feeling about your country as the swiss have, i just cant say i'm proud of switzerland. i could say i'm proud to be a swiss, but i'm not really one (parents are not from here)

well if someone wins at the olympics, i am happy that it was a swiss man or woman but why should i be proud of my country?
they made some mistakes in history so i'm not at all proud but perhaps happy to live in a peacefull country

Creatures, you scare me dude. A lot of your thoughts really come off as anti-American, and while I'm not the most patriotic guy in the country, it does kind of push me a step back. It seems to be almost bigotous the way you approach America(ns) in general and I think that a lot of people might be more offended than I am about it. (is bigotous a word??)

Don't get me wrong, man. I think you're a cool guy, class A. You speak what you believe, and that's great. All I'm saying is maybe try to see it from an American's point of view. We've been raised a bit differently than you have. Could we change? Sure. But the way we are has done us well, and believe it or not, it's done the entire world a lot more good than it hasn't.

Okay, sorry to rant. Just want you to know that we've got feelings too, buddy.

that's the point why could you die for your country?? your life is important as every other life. i would never die for a insane thing that someone invented called "country" what doesnt even exist in nature! perhaps i would help other famalies or friends but i would never kill myself for them!

my life is the important thing ever (i know it's a bit egoistically but i think that's understandable!)
