I just went to that site, youngqd put up. They have a pic of Mecca that I bet would infuriate the Saudi govt if they knew it was so easy to get. During DS1, according to Gen Schwartkopf's book, the location of SA cities was considered "classified".

Are those people in that temple? Man, there must be thousands!

The image of Mecca is stunning, isn't it? As a non-believer I assume I must now go blind.
They had 40 megabyte .9 meter overviews of Baghdad, but they are no longer offered for free. It was great looking for bombing damage, kind of like 'Where's Waldo?'
When I first looked at this picture of the al Salam I thought there was some kind of purple stain on the photo:

But I wonder if this isn't the effect of a fuel-air bomb. And it appears to be a very deep crater.
