I like to use Google's translation service:
http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en
and read the foreign papers myself.
In the box 'Translate a web page' I put an address like 'www.lemonde.fr/', set the action, 'French to English' and press 'Translate'. It takes minute for the page to load up and it is in a frame with the Google banner at the top. Then I mark this page as one of my Favorites. So next time I want to see what those #$%^ French are up to I just hit my bookmark. And any link off the page is translated also.
It doesn't work so well for German with their convoluted grammar, so I appreciate your link Bill.
