I need a new, free email address!

It should be free, no frames, and very few pop-ups.

Bad example: Mail.com was really bad on the latter 2 criteria. Stupid frames on my 13" monitor, and it had a pop-up every time I deleted an email, or exited the site.

If you dont mind banner ads too bad you might consider/try excite mail at www.excite.com.

Hotmail has at least 1 popup per session, but much worse, when you go to a different site you have a frame that follows you no matter where you go.

I use hotmail, it's not too bad. Best thing is it's only been down once in 4 years

I abandoned Hotmail when I got 400 e-mails of spam a day. I use Yahoo at the moment. With it, I get very little if any a week. Shoot, I get less spam with it than I do with my ISP provided account. Also, you could try Outgun.com... my friend uses it and he hasn't had many problems.

I also use yahoo. Stopped using hotmail about a year ago because of spam. I also use a free POP3 account with 20MB - HotPOP.com, works well with OE6.

I use Juno. You can use there computer based software or there online service (i'd download there e-mail client as the online version isn't freature rich). Its not the most amazing service, but few popups, and almost no spam unless you call it apon yourself. I was so happy with Juno I actually started paying for it. Great web service where I live.
