Outdoors This is absolutely ridiculous...

It's the beginning of APRIL... Things are supposed to be warmer, melting, fresh - trees are supposed to start sprouting their leaves and flowers.

But over the last few days we've been locked in ... you guessed it... a MASSIVE snow storm.

We didn't have this much snow during ANY point in time in the winter, and it's all come within the last 24 hours, and it's not letting up.

It's cold, windy, snowy, blowing snow, you name it... Travel not reccomended on highways, busy highways are "treacherous" at best (my drive home today was limited at about 40km/h most of the way.. that's w/ 4WD), other highways and roads are nearly (if not completely) impassable. Ditches are full of semi's, cars, etc.

Not pleased..

Oh look, it's a forum of comedians.

We'll put all of your cars in 2 feet of snow, throw in some intense winds with blowing snow to sear your eyes shut and see how you like it then!!!!

Meh... I get the spend the next three days in my warm comfy house in front of my computer.

Ok, on a serious note, you have my sympathies. I used to suffer through rough snow storms in the TN mountains.

Anyone wants to take control of the UK, just find out how to make it snow here!

The last little flurry we had, my 30 min journey home from work ( thru Southwest London ) took a little over 5 hours. People got out of their cars, ( in the middle of the road ) and walked home ! 4WD's are for picking the kidz up from school ( in case you have to mount the kerb ) no-one knows what to do in snow.

Of course, we will still have a hosepipe ban during the summer, thru lack of water!!
