TV shows ending this season

Which of the TV shows ending this season are you going to miss?

From what I can remember, I'm going to say
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Dawson's Creek

I'm sure there are others though.

Friends.

I won't miss it, but it is ending from what I understand since Rachel is leaving.

My wife will miss Buffy, but she at least will still have Angel...

Is the Dead Zone going to end like the old movie version did? From the previews it looks that way.

First and foremost:

FARSCAPE

All the rest just seems to be small potatoes. I'm not saying the show was perfect, but the writers at least plot the whole season through. I get tired of the "reset to zero" style of show.

Anyone know what is happening to the L&O franchise? I haven't been keeping track, but it is one (three) of the better shows (even if it does "reset to zero").

I'm sick about the end of Buffy. I didn't start watching until season 3 was almost over, and i instatntly fell in love with it's unquely clever style of intelligent humor mixed perfectly with action and drama. My favorite episode ever: (of anything ever made, not just buffy) was Buffy season 2 "I Only Have Eyes For You"

Some of the most brilliant writing i have ever seen was in Buffy. It's sad to see it go. Maybe the Buffy universe will continue, though - although Eliza Dushku won't be frontrunning it - as she apparenty already accepted her own show. I would like to see the original Buffy writers, and as much of the cast as possible venture on together...

A moment of silence for Buffy...

Absolutely none, as it is time for some new ideas. Sadly, we will probably receive a pathetic offering of reality shows instead.

yeah, jacob, that's troo... iwasn't too impressed with the last season of the Buffster. Actually, it started sliding a little after the end of season 3 - probably because there was more focus on Angel. Oh well.

I just wish they'd air the show when it's supposed to be aired! Stoopid UPN! That's not the only show they've done that to, either. They bastardize every show they buy. As if good shows don't have enough competition, now they have to fight for their own timeslot on the very network that owns them??? What is UPN thinking???

Sadly, i see a trend appearing.
1: lots and lots of reality shows - cheap and they make the networks money, easy to sensationalize, and by the time you realize you've wasted your time watching it, it's over and they're on to the next flavor of the week reality show.

2: lots of new shows cancelled during their first season. It's cheaper to buy a fledgling show and cancel it in the first season than to support a popular show which earns more money with longevity. And they still get their viewership, because they can promote the hell out of these new shows, and people will give them a chance. So they still get watched.

Now some shows deserve to be cancelled - like Birds of Prey (sorry to anyone who liked it, but man i just had a severe distaste for that show!) Or anything by Spelling Television. (I have to admit i've watched a few eps of Charmed and kinda liked them, but it wasn't clever TV...)

hmm.. guess i'm done ranting now...
