paper shredder suggestions

we go thru paper shredders more than the paper thats shredded!!

does anyone know of a good one for home use??

seems like once they clog up and get cleaned out,its down hill from there.

altho its rather amusing to hear wifey cuss like a const worker when it does screw up

not sure without spending lots money for a industrial one.. I have one at home a cheap one from Walmart or something ... and it has been working for 4 yrs now.. and we shred everything... My only suggestion is to not over load it.. (sometimes hard to do when you have lots but seems to work for me....

What are you interested in? I don't really have an answer, but I'm looking too and want some pointers.

We currently have a strip-cut. I'd like to get confetti-cut (little squares), but it seems like cross-cut (strips only about 1 inch long) are more reasonable.

And I agree with the tall trash can idea, or at least empty it out daily.

It's not supposed to matter about shredding stapes, but I tear off the corner that has a staple in it just in case. I've had a cheepie for quite awhile now and it works fine.
