I watched a documentary on them awhile ago... awesome work. When I saw them on the Intel commercials I just kind of dismissed them as just weird and something intel invented to be 'different'.
After watching the documentary I was very impressed. All of their work is done with PVC pipes.. some of the instruments they invent are just bizarre but sound really cool

Yeah they are really impressive instruments.
I saw them live and may see them again when they go on tour and visit SF.

Intel did them a lot of good when they put them in the commercials. That's when they hit main stream TV. Of course a lot of people like you just said "Look at those strange blue guys on TV"

I saw the Boston show in January. The scale of the show was smaller than I expected due to the compact theater. Although odd, the show was very entertaining. Part of the fun was watching the crowd. There seemed to be a lot of repeat visitors, a la 'Rocky Horror', who new what was coming and participated enthusiastically. I would recommend it highly if you are looking for a weird show that is loud, energetic, interactive, etc.

Are these guys the same "Blue Men" in the old Intel commercials? :P I always thought they looked a goofy type of cool. I do so enjoy their music too.

Yeah Phantom Noodler.. They are the same. Intel decided it was cheaper to make CGI Aliens instead.
That's a common complaint of the Boston show. It's really neat to see them where they have an open stage and lots of space to play with.

I always enjoyed those commercials. There is something about completely bald guys with blue heads that is funny.

I was so sad when Intel stopped making commercials with them.
