What TV should I get and why?

These are the TV's I am looking at as possible purchases. I am going to buy them from Best Buy as we are going to be using our BB Credit Card. If you have any personal experience or have read any good/bad reviews please post here.

TIA,

d1sc g0lf3r

I think you should get the two most expensive ones... and then send one of them to me (which you send me is entirely up to you, I won't be picky about it). I would appreciate it, however, if you could be so kind as to pay the shipping, too.

Thanks,

cumhail

I would recommend a Flat Screen vs a Rear Projection. The picture on the rear projection is good when you are directly in front of the screen, when you get to the sides there is no picture. On the flat screen there is no picture problem on the sides, stop by some stores and comprare the pictures.

The price difference is about 3 times as much for a flat panel hehe. I am lucky to be able to afford one of these 3

Sorry I meant flat crt, not flat screen. The only problem is that 36" is the largest one that I could find and Best Buy.

I just got a Mitsubishi 51 HDTV rear projection and love it... these prices are good but check on who is making and which electron guns they have, and they all seem to have digital converters and HDTV converters. Just have to watch some great prices show TVs with out these components and then you have to go and spend another 1,000 on the boxes..... When i was looking i like the picture of the Mitsubishi best followed by Sony, i like the slightly darker screens.. I have not heard one good thing about the Panasonic TVs only bad.. Phillips have a good rep and the samsung have good reps...

Bottom line how big is your room but I would go for (from your selection) the Philips. But I would also turn around and look at the 55 inch Mitsubishi…

Here is a flat CRT ,Tweeter

I agree about the picture quality of a Mitsubishi, have a 19" that is 10 years old.

Out of the three I would go with the Panasonic even though it is a little smaller
