Man a lot of threads are dying with out comment.

I kinda think these threads should not be closed with out comment.

At most censor the offending text not kill an active popular thread.

Must be nice to be a "mod!" Reopen a closed thread, make a post, and zip it up right and tight afterwards.

No... it's not a very nice time to be a mod. Members are harassing each other, flaming each other, and posting statements that are so ludicrous and baseless that it can only be for the purpose of pushing someone elses button.

Debate is one thing, but posting material that is obvious flame bait is not allowed. Such threads and messages will be closed or deleted. Members that continue to post in such a manor will be expelled. Too many members around here have forgotten the content of the FAQ... I suggest everyone that values their posting priveledges at TechIMO go re-read those FAQ's CAREFULLY.

Very true (I agree with Finger's whole statement above, but only copied this part). Recent behavior has driven off many people and has really turned this volunteer job and my 2 weeks off after graduation into a less-than-fun jaunt, recently. I can't wait for things to get back to "normal" where we have more problems from spammers and new member's cursing or asking about warez than we do from long-time members forgetting that this is a friendly forum.
