hey all, just curious how many of us here actually merged from SysOpt when all those "bad things" happen....
Also, if ya did come from SysOpt, do you still go back there occasionally?
For myself, yep i'm originally from sysopt, and nope, never been back there since following Scott to TechIMO....
Edit: Just to let everyone know & to clear up any possible confusion, my intensions for this thread wasn't to dig up the not so nice events of the past or bash sysopt or anything like that. I was just curious how many people had been here @ TechIMO from day1.

I was "In Mufti" overseas at the time of the Sysopt blow up or whatever it was. Can someone fill me in as to what happened? No one wanted to talk about it for quite awhile...

Speedstik, i could be wrong, but I think (as far as i am aware) Xtreme PC Central is more like a sister-site of TechIMO rather than a spinoff. Its run by a member from here called MntSnow. I occasionally visit there, as do many of the TechIMO's. Hmm its been a while since i've been there actually... Probably should checkup whats been happening there...  edit: Fixed up my incorrect info... oops i am embarassed now (altho i did say that i could be wrong, and it turns out i was hehe). Thanks for correcting me! I'll just go away and hide in the corner now.....

I had signed up with sysopt and had been there about a week. for a computer problem. I had a nice welcome from someone there and then I noticed thier was problems and saw everyone leaving to come to this place so i hopped on over here and found out a great group of people. so I got on board with timo during its first week online and have stayed ever since.  | |
