Kids Do you write checks in stores?

No offense intended, but I hate it when I get caught behind someone in a store checkout line and they pull out a checkbook. Especially when they wait until the order is all tallied up and bagged to start writing the check. With the easy availability of check cards, why bother with checks?

Check cards are very convient. And you don't have to buy checks.

Nope. Checks for the payments I mail, cash for everything else.

Never.

I actually do not have any - AMEX and EC-card do the job.

And I hated it when EC-cheques were still around here when one upfront the queue started writing a cheque to pay for say a bottle of Coke.

CC.

Rarely, almost always use an ATM card. Only write a check when I can't use an ATM card.

COD for me, checks for bills.nothing spends like cash IMO

Although some of the stores here have machines to print all the stuff on the face of the check, and all you have to do is sign the front, that's really nice.
