What's your favorite book genre?
For me, mainly science fiction. New ones are ok, but I tend to like the old ones more. Mainly focus on Heinlein, and some Asimov and Orson S. Card, among others.... |

Historical fiction. Especially stuff by Jeff Shaara and Alan Furst.
Then techno-thrillers. Clancy, Coonts, and Coyle. Makes it easy to search the bookstores when all your favorite authors are on the same shelf.

My fav right now is non-fiction. I have been reading a lot of political and military biographies, general historical overviews, books on political thought and Biblical commentaries.
...You know, the really interesting stuff. |

Non-fiction is good, too. I just received the collected writings of Theodore Roosevelt. I'm looking forward to that. I'll bet there's some wisdom for the present situation in there somewhere.

Erle Stanley Gardner. Whatever he wrote westerns, scifis, or mysteries has been my favorites.
