Is Al-Jazeera's a fair and unbiased news source?
For those which frequent this news source, do you feel that they show the complete and fair analysis of events?

I'm a little confused as to why they've been banned at the NASDAQ and NYSE. What they did was report news. The fact that it was painful to watch is beside the point. Or better yet, it's something many Americans SHOULD watch. War is not a video game with black-and-white images of buildings being blown apart. War is an obscenity and is the ugliest thing on earth. People who have never been in a war and are so gung-ho should see the results of their wishes. Yes, unfortunately war is sometimes inevitable and/or necessary. But the decision to go to war should NEVER be taken lightly nor applauded.
Secondly, the Pentagon has voiced their belief that US POWs have, in fact, been executed. How would they have known this if it wasn't for Al-Jazeera?
The reason fishing is so enjoyable is because fish don't scream when you haul them from the water. If a fish screamed like a wounded puppy every time you hauled one up, few people would have the stomach for fishing. The reason the US news agencies don't show the true horror and carnage of war is because most people watching would lose their stomach for it (both figuratively and literally). As long as it's only a video game, we're all for it.
EDIT: I just realized I never answered the original question. My answer is, I don't know. I don't have access to an impartial news source to enable a sound judgment.

I have to agree with shahani. Fox News is pumping our propaganda just like al Jazeera is pumping Saddam's propaganda. I'm more interested in actual news. We don't need a cheerleader.

BBC is better but I think one should see FOX, the 3 networks and CNN to get a better overall picture.

Fox is pretty uniformly not supplying video of dead for better or worse.
al-jezeera, is only printing the negative side. They seem to omit the freed people dancing, humanitarian aid, and so on.
Although fox may put a slant on it, they do report the market place and civillian deaths as well as our own military's dead.
Al-jezeera does not seem to even address anything which would be remotely against saddam, or the thugs surpressing civillians with brutal tactics such as, hanging women for waving to our troops, Cutting peoples tongues out and letting them bleed to death in the central square.
Fox is slanted yes. But Al-jezeera seems to be completely inflamitory and biased beyond belief.

If you see the same event on the three networks, CNN, BBC and FOX you will see the extent of the slant.
DME, do me a favor-see the early morning (7am) FOX & Friends. Tell me how you like it?

fox and friends, O'Riely, hannity are opinion shows.
the news segments are right up there with CNN and ABC, NBC, CBS.
If you want to talk about bias all the Opinion shows on those networks are biased as hell as well. Everything from Oprah, Larry King. The bias is evident in so many subtle ways. From selecting the most extreme right wing position against a moderate left wing. To allowing left wing speaker to go unempeded and step on the conservative speaker. This happens over and over from channel to channel.
I watch BBC, CNN, ABC, Fox to find out what is going on. Fox breakes which get no air on mainstream media. As such giving a more complete view of events.
Fox is by no means my only source for information. But it is a valuable resource which until recently was not available.
The opinion shows on fox are direct combat against a widely biased mainstream media.

Can we say -- VIOLATION OF THE GENEVA CONVENTIONS!!!
Answer to orignal question -- NO!
While we're talking about Geneva Conventions, which the U.S. is following to the letter, what about --
Tank in/beside hospital
Soldiers using hospital and school for cover to shoot from
Execution of POW's
Using Hospital and school for storage of ammunition and weapons
Using civilians as "human shields"
Enough said!
The good news is this info originates from Sadam and can be used in a War Crimes Trial as evidence!
