Tech Imagine that

"The first contracts for rebuilding post-war Iraq have been awarded, and Vice President Dick Cheney's old employer, Halliburton Co., is one of the early winners."

This was expected. I have mentioned this in many posts going back about a week. The best is yet to come involving some oil contracts where George Bush Sr is partner with some Texan oilmen.

The Cheney-Bush circle will get upwards of $3 Billion in oil and reconstruction contracts.

Stay tuned for more details as they unfold.

Send a message via ICQ to crouse
Cheney divested himself of all interest in Halliburton, the largest U.S. oilfield services company, after the 2000 election.

It is a BID procedure isn't it.??? I'm asking .... that's the way it all reads to me. Halliburton is a HUGE company in its own right and probably doesn't need any string pulling to get the contracts.

Regarding 'divestment'; As long as numbered accounts and off shore banks and dummy companies exist there is no sure thing.

In short: Assume the worst. At least you'll be close.
