Did we take out Iraq TV too late.

I don't have much information but apparently we made a booboo. I told them they should blow up those TV towers darn it.

Supposedly the iraqi government just gave information to the troops to blow bridges and attack. Other than the fact that it served nothing but a negative having Iraqi propaganda running 24 7. It has also been used for command and control.

When will people start listening to me.

I was wondering about that. Didn't they broadcast over the radio the morning after the first bombing of Bagdad? I would have thought that since they took over the radio waves then the TV stations would be next. Oh well, I guess they know what's best.

Uh, I don't know, Ep. Maybe we should do a poll?

Does anyone else think we should put Epidemic in charge of strategy?

The Good Member Epidemic has not visited here for some time, being busy with another war thread to bait the anti-war crowd.

Evidently the decision not to take it out sooner was based on the concern that civilians would be taken out with it. In the end evidently the decision was made at the Presidential level.

The U.S. is trying to run too "sterile" of a war. Bad idea. I fear this approach will end up costing more U.S. lives. In context, let me say that once the Iraqis take up positions in a school the school ceases to be a school and becomes a military target.

The trick is to pressure Al Jezerra to report the human shield aspects, as well as the false surrenders, etc. Unfortunately, they are the Arab CNN and won't really report things that go against their cause.

I'm sure the UN is working on it!
