No, BC, my icon is from Distinguished Member Epidemic's site: www.animationfactory.com. The deskflag is a totally different, albeit similiar, animated icon.

Does DeskFlag contain adware or spyware?
No. (People seem to be asking about adware because they've seen a lot of pop-up advertisements for flags in their Web browser recently, or they've noticed that more Web sites are displaying annoying pop-under ads. Everyone is seeing more of those recently; it's nothing to do with DeskFlag.)
If anybody is curious.. I was!

As the Distinguished Member Vass rightly and eloquently addressed the question of spyware with a resounding NO, I may venture to add to the astute member's conclusions that while the aforementioned software does not contain embedded spyware and other nasty macros, it certainly uses system resources in terms of RAM and CPU power. As the Distinguished Member Vass will confirm, this will ensure your system runs imperceptibly slower unless you are on a 486 system with 8MB RAM, a 240MB drive and running windows for workgroups revised version 3.1.

I got that after Sept. 11 as well. After a while it got annoying and ate my resources on my OLD P1 100 mhz. (I remember that computer well. I even had a name for it: "Dec"). Good program. Don't know if it's spyware, though.
