If Iraqis ultimately support our troops will the middle eastern muslims.
I have never figured out the middle eastern muslims mind. It is very foreign to mine. But in general will the people rioting in favor of Iraqi people, respect that the wishes of iraqis if it turns out to be favorable to the USA.
Yes. Middle Eastern Arab is very sensitive to national bounderies and respect each other's territories (except Iraq) and by and large will not interfere.
probably not. I would imagine they will still find a reason to hate us. It would be nice if we could all just get along, but I know that won't happen in my lifetime.
Arab nations seem to see the bad things that Saddam has done, but still feel a kindred tie with him because he is Arab. It seems like they have a conundrum of wanting his bad deeds to end, but not want aggression towards an "arab brother" by non-Arabs. I do not know how things will pan out. I hope they are for the best, in both the diplomatic and military sense.
There were opposing demonstrations near Detroit yesterday between Iraqi war supporters and other Arab-Americans opposing the war. The protesters were saying the US was killing Iraqis. The Iraqis were saying the US was killing the bad Iraqis, but Saddam kills the good Iraqis.
Nevertheless, they'll pretty much hate the US no matter what because the US supports Israel.
We offered our help to rid the world of saddam in 91 and the world rejected the idea. A mistake that killed more people than I can imagine. It is probably alot of the reason people are not all dancing in the street, afraid we are going to leave them to fend for themselves again.
