An Apology

I have received a large number of PMs supporting my somewhat strident anti-war views.

I have also received an equally large number condemning my views.

So I decided to review all my posts (I keep everything in wordpad for easy reference) and here's what I have concluded.

I have been much more guilty (guiltier??) of the very same things I accuse my detractors of. I find, overall, my position is seen as sarcastic, negative, anti-war, anti-military, anti-government, anti-Bush, anti-*.*

I also looked inwards and found that I do not truly have such strong feelings and what I wrote was responses/retorts/reactions.

But that does not condone some of the stuff I wrote.

Even epidemic (who's errr.....striking in his views) is upset with me and screamed at me on the phone this morning. The Dawg is also upset at me. He snaps now.

Knothead accepts me for what I am---a crabby, disgruntled, cynical stockbroker with a sense of wry (dry?) humor. But, then, Knothead is very big.

So, to cut it short, I would like to offer my apologies to all fellow friends/members here who I offended and hurt with my biting sarcastic comments. I did not mean to and I hope those who were offended find it in themselves to accept my most humble apologies.

I have great respect for the US troops who are dying right now to protect the way of life here. Godd Bless them all.

You're forgiven. We're all a little touchy these days. Nothing worth yelling about.

I try to spend at least as much time praying as I do yelling, with the result that I do a lot less yelling than in my younger days.
