People just really need to stay focused on the progress being made rather than the "setbacks" that the media says occurs. The media acts as though wars are clean-cut, "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" deals. Well they aren't. A war is a horrible atrocity that damages everyone involved in some way. Our soldiers' deaths or capture, while saddening, is not a setback. It's all part of the deal. When bullets and bombs are flying, things get blown up and people die. I want to see as few deaths on each side as possible, except for those who truly support Saddam, but it's going to happen. I don't even watch the 24/7 news on the war; it's too granular to begin with, and they all get worked up over the little things that are all part of war. I intend to monitor our troops' progress toward the goal, and that is it.
